Since 2014, Ben Sowards has had the honor of contributing to U.S. coin and medal design through the United States Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program. Several of his designs have been officially selected by the Secretary of the Treasury and subsequently engraved by the Mint’s master artists in Philadelphia. His initials, alongside those of the engraver, appear on the final coins and medals.
