His oil paintings and commissioned portraits are held in public and private collections. Known for his nuanced realism and expressive technique, his portrait subjects have included governors, university presidents, philanthropists, and cultural leaders.
Since 2014, Ben has served as a contributing designer for the U.S. Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program, with multiple designs selected by the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury for circulating and commemorative coins and medals.
Drawing from a deep foundation in classical painting and design, Ben continues to explore the balance between formal structure and emotional resonance in his studio practice.
